Most DJ's are lazy. The majority of stuff that comes through B-Side is boring as hell. Occasionally, someone really comes correct. Recently, Goldenchyld's mix Ear Infections is pretty dope. (i need to start writing the reviews. move over, pone).
But damn, Cultura Copia is the kind of mix that blows everything away for a couple of months for the people that are listening. This isnt on some "40 years in the studio protools mash-up" trip, and it is all the better for it. Just ridiculously good music mixed with nearly impeccable timing. I suck ass at mixing soul/funk, so I really appreciate how clean this is. Forget what you heard about everyone getting their asses to brasil to raid the place, nuts has held it down there. keep it local!

I am not up on my Brasilian funk, so i cant i.d. any of the tracks. If anyone wants to break it down, please do. Track 7 has nuts juggling. (nuts juggling?) track 14 is just dope.

This reminds me of when i first heard brainfreeze and product placement which forced me to reconsider how i was mixing and kept me focused. No more laziness, a resolution, perhaps.
